A place built around the beer — and the people who share it
Lake Effect Brewing Company started with a simple idea: make beers worth coming back for, in a space where coming back feels natural. Located on Chicago's North Side along Belden Avenue, we've built a neighborhood gathering place where the tap list rotates with the seasons, the music is local, and nobody's keeping track of last call.
Our brews are made right here in Chicago — lagers that taste like clarity, IPAs that don't apologize, stouts with something to say. But the beer is only half the story. The other half is the room: high ceilings, warm wood, a patio that's open whenever the weather agrees, and a door that stays open for dogs, friends of friends, and anyone who walks in looking for a good hour.
